EDITING OPPORTUNITIES
Editing opportunities enable the writer to submit work to Gayvin. She assesses the writing, provides notes based upon current industry standards, and focuses on creative solutions that keep your story, intention, and voice pure. These appointments target manuscripts, query letters, and screenplays. If you’re seeking assistance with query letters for nonfiction, other than creative or narrative, please email Gayvin. She’ll share a reputable source for nonfiction query letters.

DEVELOPMENTAL EDITOR: Refining Your Masterpiece
This is a review of your entire manuscript. Think of this step as refining specifics of your masterpiece. I analyze from structure, plot, and character down to sentence structure, word selection, interiority, and point-of-view. Your target audience and theme are taken into account. Recommendations include advice on how to achieve industry standards and expectations.

If so, query writing can be more challenging than writing an 80,000 word manuscript. The query is the appetizer for an agent, intended to entice her/him to read more. There are specific elements agents are seeking. Review assesses manuscript, intro, body, bio, comps and word count.
