    BEHIND THE MIC.

    GAYVIN POWERS, MFA, MA

Sit down with a cup of tea and dive into wild episodes about forgotten women’s histories.

Gayvin, a published writer, reiki master, and interviewer, is your weekly guide. Currently, she writes for Google and SouthPark magazine. Her writing and research have a penchant for secrets, history, and suspense with speculative and paranormal elements. She loves revealing how they influence an overlooked woman, who is more suited for the modern era.

Inspiration for many of her stories and this podcast come from researching her 14th GreatGrandmother, Jacquetta, Countess Rivers, who was arrested for witchcraft in 1469 and her 9th GreatGrandmother, Lydia Gilbert, who was hanged as a witch in 1654. These are two women, out of numerous others, whose courageous stories have been lost and Gayvin will recover.

Discover new stories with Gayvin each week as she illuminates compelling women during fascinating times in history.
